LUSAKA – In a shocking revelation at the Matero Local Court, a man confessed that he divorced his wife after being promised K7,000 by the man who impregnated her — only for the money never to be paid. During the hearing, Innocent Chileshe told Magistrate Lewis Mumba that his wife’s lover, Innocent Mutonga, offered him money in exchange for a divorce so the couple could freely marry. “Your honour, this man was in a sexual relationship with my wife, and she even became pregnant for him.
