Vice President Mutale Nalumango Safe After Aircraft Incident In Nakonde

Vice President Dr. Mutale Nalumango is safe and in good health after an aircraft incident during take-off in Nakonde District, according to Secretary to the Cabinet Patrick Kangwa.

Vice President Dr. Mutale Nalumango has safely escaped an aircraft incident that occurred during take-off in Nakonde District on Thursday morning.

Secretary to the Cabinet Patrick Kangwa confirmed that the Vice President and all crew members were immediately taken to Nakonde District Hospital for routine medical examinations following the incident.

Mr. Kangwa stated that both the Vice President and the crew were examined by medical personnel and have since been discharged from hospital.

He further assured the nation that Dr. Nalumango is in good health.

According to Mr. Kangwa, the relevant authorities have commenced investigations to establish the circumstances that led to the aircraft incident.

Further details regarding the cause of the incident are expected once investigations are concluded.
