Cyber Security Agency nabs Mansa serial online lover

Cyber Security Agency nabs Mansa serial online lover

THE Cyber Security Agency has apprehended a male crook who had been pretending to be among other female beauties, the exquisite and stunning Iris Kaingu to lure prominent figures and students into online romantic relationships of sharing nudes.

Before his arrest, 26-year old Bowa Chanda was managing over 30 Facebook accounts with different identities.

On most of the accounts, Bowa was posing as a salacious and voluptuous slay queen capable of making any male homo sapien lose their sleep.

Chanda would send out friend requests to the men, start steamy and intimate conversations with them which would eventually lead to sharing of nude photos.

Once Bowa had enough ungodly images and videos of his "lovers", he would then start to demand money while threatening to publicly share their nakedness if they did not comply.

According to investigators, Bowa targeted prominent men as well as university and college students.

However, Chanda's luck started to run out when he sent a friend request to 46-year old Anthony Mwanza of Lusaka's Lilayi using a Facebook account under the name “Agatha K. Mhango”

Initially, the online relationship got off well with Mwanza believing he was in a relationship with a real woman.

Through late night chats Mwanza sent sweet "threatening" messages of how he would tenderly realign "Agatha's" reproductive chassis and when she demanded to see the "tools", he would be using, he readily sent HD images of his Iranian-type nuclear missile domiciled in his pubic region.

But Mwanza's excitement and burning desire soon turned into panic as his online lover turned from being a sweet charming partner, to a shrewd extortionist now demanding money or subject him to public humiliation.

After sending K10,000 in installments through the Airtel Money service between January 14 and February 10, 2026, Mwanza decided to report the extortion to Zambia Cyber Security Agency.

After receiving the complaint, officers from the Cyber Security Agency immediately went to work

using advanced intelligence gathering techniques and profiling of the said Facebook account.

The investigation eventually led officers to a ramshackle in Mansa of Luapula province and when they pounced, they did not find a beautiful and delicious woman, they instead found a scruffy young monkey-eating fellow identified as Bowa Chanda.

Upon his arrest, Chanda was found with

One ITEL cellular phone, two Airtel sim cards and a Facebook account under the name “Agatha K. Mhango”

The two sim cards with two Airtel numbers are suspected to have been used to receive money from his victims.

Sources close to the investigation have told Kalemba that Chanda will be officially charged and arrested with the offence of Cyber Extortion contrary to the provisions of the Cyber Crimes Act No. 4 of 2025.
